1. What we collect
Account: email and a securely hashed password. Learning data: your questions, uploaded photos/documents, topic mastery, and tutor settings. Technical: a session cookie and basic rate-limit logs.
2. What never leaves your browser
AI provider API keys (BYOK) are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are sent directly to the provider you chose and never saved in our database.
3. Where data lives
Account and learning data are stored in a Postgres database and private object storage (US region). Uploads use short-lived private links. AI providers you select receive your questions to generate answers, under their own policies.
4. Children
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without a parent or teacher account. Parents may review or delete a child's data anytime.
5. Your rights
You can clear chats and wipe all learning memory anytime in Settings → Memory, and delete your account by signing in and contacting support. Deletion removes your rows and files; backups expire automatically.
